The Kruger Park Lodge Estate is situated on a 9-hole Gary Player designed golf course on the banks of the Sabie River in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. The resort offers guests a tranquil and peaceful haven away from the madding crowds approximately 12 minutes away from the famous Kruger National Park, Park with the Phabeni gate being the closest point of entry.

Nearby attractions include the Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest, God’s Window, Mac Mac falls. The architectural theme requires all homes to have thatch roofs, face brick exteriors, wooden window and doors. The luxury homes blend in with the beautiful indigenous gardens creating a wonderfully peaceful, harmonious village setting. A wide range of specially designed two, three and four bedroom homes are available.

FACILITIES

Facilities on the resort include four tennis courts, three swimming pools, restaurant and various children’s playground activities. There is a driving range at the entrance gate to the resort. Various walks have been set out around the golf course and along the river and guests may watch the local hippo from the safety of a hippo hide built on the edges of one of the many dams on the property.

DEVELOPMENT

The current property development comprises 140 private and syndicated homes and 84 timeshare units. The Homeowners Association: Responsible for Management, control and Administration of Property, Sectional Title schemes and the golf course. Represents interest of all owners.

The Developer offers investors a full turnkey package including stand, building, furnishing and gardens. The Developer will project manage the entire process on behalf of the investor.

On completion the Estate Management team will assist in managing the house on the owners’ behalf and can provide full housekeeping services if so desired. Many owners make use of the Resort Rental Pool ensuring optimum utilization of the home.

DESIGN SELECTION

There are a variety of standard designs available for clients to choose from. The designs offer range from two bedroom loft chalets to spacious 4 bedroom homes. All homes have been designed to ensure the privacy of the occupants. Certain designs are only suitable for particular stands. The appropriate home design patterns are suggested for each stand.

Once the client has chosen the plan that best suits their needs and wishes to commence building, MagicBreakaways Leisure Developments will arrange the furnishing and project manage the building of the home.

DEPOSITS

Deposits must be lodged on signature of contract. Suitable financial arrangements must be made for the balance of the purchase price and bank guarantees lodged before building commences.

While building operations are in progress, clients will receive a regular update on the progress of the building. On completion, the Project Manager will produce a defects list and practical and final completion certificates on the owner’s behalf.
